Cellan:Namespace

A namespace is a set of pages on the Celestial Lance Wiki that begin with a specific reserved word recognized by the MediaWiki software, generally followed by a colon. For example, this page is in the "Cellan" namespace, which is the project namespace (where pages about the Celestial Lance Wiki project itself are found).

Here's a list of most current namespaces on the Celestial Lance Wiki. Each also has an associated "talk" namespace, where discussions about the associated regular namespace page can be held. Almost every namespace has a talk namespace associated with it.

• Main: The main topic namespace, where articles about the Celestial Lance Universe are found: characters, settings, and so on.
• User: Used by those who have accounts on the wiki. They can create user pages. These pages begin with User:.
• Cellan: Used by the project for coordination, listing wiki-wide policies, editing guidelines, and so on. These pages begin with Cellan:.
• File: Used for media files such as images, PDFs, and other supported file types (see the supported types listed here). These pages begin with File:.
• Template: Used for templates, special pages that can be transcluded or substituted to make it easier for using infoboxes, navboxes, and the like. These pages begin with Template:.
• Help: Used for pages designed to help editors of the wiki better use the wiki software. These pages begin with Help:.
• Category: Contains category pages, a special type of page that automatically lists all pages containing various [[Category: links. These pages begin with Category:.
