Edward Mattathias Kovel (6 July 3124 - 6 July 3229) was the creator of the Kovel Jump Drive.
Biography
Kovel was born on 6 July 3124 in Avataran on Naya Shukr in the Naya Piram system. He became interested in astrophysical engineering (engineering related to astrophysics, including wormholes) at about age 12, and he subsequently graduated from the Naya Shukr satellite campus of Rampyari Applied Sciences and Engineering University in 3149 with a double PhD in wormhole astrophysics and stardrive engineering. After graduation, he was immediately hired by Piram Shipyards and Construction where he became head of the stardrive division in 3154.
