Imiloa (or more properly, ʻImiloa) is Adele Watanabe's ICES exploration ship, controlled by a medium-level AI with the same name. She is able to respond to voice commands and natural language requests, and can even hold a conversation and crack jokes, though she's still learning on the joke front. Her name means "explorer" or "seeking far" in Hawaiian.
The intrasystem drive can achieve up to about 0.65 c (701,514,351.72 km/h).
She is 250 meters in diameter.
Her AI is descended from Hōkūleʻa.
She has a single shuttle, Ka'imiloa. The shuttle's name means "far seeker". It has a low-level AI (basically an advanced autopilot), and Imiloa can control Ka'imiloa remotely, if needed.
