Callisto, or Callie, is Edward M. Kovel's exploration sphereship, controlled by a medium-level AI with the same name. She is able to respond to voice commands and natural language requests, and hold a conversation. She is named for a highly-regarded fiction editor of the 21st Century on Earth.
