The Astley system is a star system in the Celestial Lance Universe. It was discovered in 2437.
Specifications
The Astley system contains ten planets and a single yellow-white dwarf giant star similar to Sol, though younger at only about 8 billion years. It is located approximately 760 light years from Earth. It has around the same mass as Sol.
Other names
The Astley system is also known as:
- Rehckrohl system – Named for Richard A. Rehckrohl, a wealthy investor in and founder of the system. He built an empire behind repackaging ancient popular music, especially from the 20th and 21st centuries.
Planets
Planets are listed from closest to the star moving outward. An asteroid belt is located between planets 5 and 6, and a Kuiper belt is located beyond Dauwn.
- Nayvar – rocky planet
- G'neh – rocky planet
- Geevu – rocky planet, habitable (very warm)
- Yyough – rocky planet, habitable (just right)
- Opp – rocky planet, habitable (cold)
- N'evah – gas giant planet
- Gonah – gas giant planet
- Leht – ice giant planet
- Yew – rocky planet
- Dauwn – dwarf ice giant planet
Wormholes
The Astley system has the following wormholes:
