The Celestial Lance Universe is a space opera adventure shared-universe setting created by Joe Monson. Though a few stories are set in the late 21st and 22nd century, most of the stories are set around 4100 A.D., on and around a moon-sized space station named Cellan 3 (short for Celestial Lance 3). It was named after 梗河三 (Gěng Hé sān), the third star in the Chinese constellation known as "Celestial Lance" (梗河, Gěng Hé), part of the Western constellation Boötes.
