David Terakawa

David Terakawa is a human who first appears in "Lagrange Two, Lagrange One, Do You Copy?" as the navigator and systems engineer on the Lucky Dragon. He is a Corporal (E2) in the International Space Exploration Force.

Biography

David was born on 3 November 2093 in Laie, Ohau, Hawaii on Earth. His parents were in the U.S. Army, so he moved all over the world while he was growing up. His grandfather is the head priest at a Shinto shrine in Honolulu. David isn’t really into Shinto, or Buddhism, or much of anything, though he’ll politely honor the customs as needed. He is a fervent believer in extraterrestrial life. Anyone who’s served with him more than two weeks knows NOT to get him started on that subject.

He speaks Japanese, Hawaiian, and English fluently (the crew jokes calculus should be considered a fourth), as well as a smattering of six others (Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Samoan, Maori, and Spanish).
