Gaurani Conglomerate

The Gaurani Conglomerate is an interstellar corporation in the Celestial Lance Universe. It started as a medicinal beverage company in the old Brasil on Earth in 1921. After the Halfen discovered the guaraná soft drink in 2372, the original company quickly became an interstellar company, using some of its profits to fund the exploration, terraforming, and colonization of the Guaraná system. The company has created multiple varieties of the guaraná plant to cater to different tastes in its many markets. About two-thirds of the guaraná soft drink produced by Gaurani are consumed by the Halfen market.

A group of investors, including the entire Guarani tribe in old Brasil, purchased the company from Ambev in 2199, changing the company name to Companhia Gaurani. After the boom following the Halfen discovery of the beverage, the company changed its name to Aglomerado Guarani in 2375.
