This is a list of equipment found in the Celestial Lance Universe.

Clothing

Body armor

Body armor can range from light duty styles meant for recreational usage in slightly hostile environments to heavy duty armor used in for military and industrial applications.

Skinsuit

A tight-fitting and sealable bodysuit that protects a person in vacuum or atmosphere. It can keep out lower-level radiation, most chemicals, and stop some low-powered autopistol projectiles (depending on the suit). It usually contains monitoring tools that provide information about the health of the wearer, helmet attachments, as well as body waste management and recycling equipment. The thickness of the suit varies depending on the purpose of the suit, and can be anything from recreational use to lightly armored military use.

Other

Dermal communicator

A communicator that attaches directly to the skin. Those used by the general public tend to be colorful and trendy or business-like. There are also more high-end communicators that can incorporate optical camouflaging, medical assistance tools, and a variety of other more expensive options.

Zarathustra device

A dermal communicator device that translates starkind mindspeak into vocal words, thereby allowing them to communicate with those who are unable to hear mindspeak. The original prototype was a small, matte gray device about the size of an average human fist. It was flexible and attached to the starkind via a programmable dermapatch. Once attached, it can only be detached by the starkind using it because the controls lock themselves to that user. It comes with a tutorial mode and low-level AI that learns the thought and emotional patterns of the user so it can create those same patterns when translating to a spoken language. It is introduced in Slingshot when Edward M. Kovel tests it on Chiemi in August 3159.

Medkit

Usually a small- or medium-sized bag that contains various tools used by medical personnel such as paramedics or military combat medics. Much more comprehensive than a simple first aid kit.
