Ohlakhira Shufteim Marine Corps
The Ohlakhira Shufteim Marine Corps (or OSMC) is an expeditionary military force of the Ohlakhira Shufteim. It is used to handle military incidents requiring significant military forces to resolve.
Headquarters
The OSMC headquarters and the main OSMC Academy are both located on Montford Point, the third planet in the Parkin system. The OSMC Academy is named for the planet.
Operations groups
The OSMC has multiple operations groups:
- Fleet General Forces (FGF) – General OSMC forces assigned to offensive operations in support of OSMC Command (OSMCCOM) operations throughout the galaxy.
- Force Reconnaissance (FR) – Smaller intelligence-gathering units that work to covertly and overtly gather information useful to ongoing and future operations.
- Security Forces (SF) – Units belong to the Security Forces Regiment (SFR) and provide security for OSMC and ICES ground and space-based facilities.
- Security Guard Forces (SGF) – Units belong to the Security Guard Forces Regiment (SFR) and provide security for OS governmental facilities such as embassies, consulates, and general offices throughout the galaxy.
- Special Operations Teams (SOT) – Smaller specialty units used for specific tasks. Some of the units are permanent, and others are formed and disbanded as needed.
Organizational structure
The OSMC uses the following organizational structure:
OSMC General Command
General Command oversees all operation divisions.
Division Command
A division consists of up to ten brigades.
Brigade Command
A brigade consists of up to ten task groups.
Task Group Command
A task group consists of up to ten units.
Unit Command
This is the smallest organization unit within the OSMC, consisting of between 20 and 100 marines, including officers.
