Kalana Taake-Smith is a human who first appears in "Lagrange Two, Lagrange One, Do You Copy?" as the Director of Operations at Jarvis Island Spaceport. She is the oldest sister of Vasiti Taake.
Biography
Kalana was born 6 June 2077 on the island of Abemama in Kiribati on Earth. She is the oldest of eight children, and her youngest sister is Vasiti Taake. She is married to John Mariuti Smith and has four children: three girls and a boy (born in that order).
She was named director of Jarvis Rocketport in 2114, and remained in that position when it changed to Jarvis Island Spaceport in 2116. She is a civilian.
