"Lagrange Two, Lagrange One, Do You Copy?" is a novella set in the Celestial Lance Universe.

Plot

Vasiti Taake is Lieutenant Commander in the International Space Exploration Force, second in command of the Lucky Dragon, the center module of the new Lagrange Two International Space Observatory (L2ISO). After piloting it to Earth-Sun Lagrange Point Two, she and her crew make first contact with the Starkind, a race of space-faring dragons. The Starkind introduce the humans to the Halfen, another ancient race, just in time for terrorists to attack the Lucky Dragon.
