Saoirse Watanabe

Saoirse Watanabe is mostly human and the mother of Adele Watanabe, the protagonist of Hemelein Discovery. She was a Lieutenant Colonel in ICES at the time of her disappearance.

Biography

Saoirse was born Saoirse Donegal on 2 February 4075 in Letterkenny, Ireland on Earth. She met Keoni Watanabe on Earth while they were on assignment there with the Interstellar Cataloguing and Exploration Service. They were married on 29 February 4096. After they married, they settled on property owned by Keoni's family on Malumaluakua in the Hana-ka-lau-‘ai system. They have four children: Adele, David, Go, and Junior.

Saoirse was declared missing after an apparent Kimmalevoi attack while on a transport containing 1876 colonists and crew enroute to a newly-discovered Goldilocks planet in 4120.

Saoirse has mainly Irish ancestry, with some Halfen several generations back.
