This is a list of races in the Celestial Lance Universe. They are listed alphabetically.
Halfen
The Halfen, often called elves by humans due to their similarity in appearance to the mythological beings, are one of the major races in the Celestial Lance Universe. They are the source of much of the mythology in various culture about elves and similar beings. They have semi-intelligent symbiotic creatures, the Quima, that help them assess truth and read emotions. The Halfen are also sometimes called Ginan, after their original homeworld in the Ginan system. Their current home system is the Syeen Ginan system, a G4IV sub-giant star about 450 light years from Earth. The political entity is known as the Halfen Kongsveld (Realm of Halfen).
Humans
Humans originated on Earth in the Sol system. Since meeting the Halfen and Starkind in 2116, they have spread to thousands of star systems throughout the Milky Way galaxy. The main human political entity is the Manosya Confederation (literally "Confederation of Humankind"). The next largest human-controlled entity is that of the Kimmalevoi.
Kimmalevoi
Kimmalevoi can refer to two different groups in the Celestial Lance Universe: the original race and the current political entity. Their home system is about 340 light years from Earth in the general direction of Bellatrix and Capella, though much higher above the Solar plane.

Quima
The Quima are semi-intelligent beings that form a symbiotic relationship with individual Halfen and (rarely) with individuals from other races. Humans often call the symbiotes Fae because (when they are visible) they appear similar to mythological fairies. As with the Halfen, they are the source of most of the human mythological references to fairy folk.
Renn
Very little is known about the Renn as they are no longer in the Milky Way Galaxy.
Starkind
Starkind, often referred to as Dragons, are one of the oldest known races in the Milky Way galaxy. They are loosely governed by the Council of Elders.
