- Below
- See downward, below.
- Coreward
- Toward the galactic core.
- Downward
- Moving below the galactic plane on the side of Alpha Gruis/Alnair.
- Edgeward
- See rimward, below.
- Rimward

- Dragon
- A common nickname for Starkind

- Hub
- A star system with at least two wormhole nodes. Most star systems with wormholes have more than one.
- Orphan
- A star system with no known wormholes. See Category:Orphans.
- Node
- A wormhole opening. This is where ships enter and exit the wormhole.
- Sphereship
- A spheroid (either globular or oblong) ship, originally of Halfen design. Diameters range from small shuttles such as Chosu Nomh (8 meters) to very large ships such as Hikianalia (1000 meters).
- Superhub
- A star system containing more than ten wormhole nodes. Examples include Arcturus and Sol. See Category:Superhubs.
Polities

- Halfen Kongsveld
- The main governmental body of the Halfen. It is a hereditary monarchy with a parliamentary system that allows everyone to participate on various levels. Also simply Kongsveld. A member of the Ohlakhira Shufteim.
